Planting and prepping

Life on the farm starts to pick up in Februrary. Existing beds are tidied, new beds are made, Trellises and plant supports are organized.This growing season will include Pansies, Sweet peas, Larkspur, Snapdragons, Strawflowers, Dahlias, Zinnias, Sunflowers assorted fillers, greens and trial flowers. There's a constant flow now of seeds being planted, seedlings being transplanted in beds, making room for more seeds to be planted. This year we will grow flowers on approximately 3800 sq ft of garden space. The work is hard, but the reward of seeing row upon row of beautufil blooms is incentive!
